Gran Miscela Carmo Espresso Blend®

The Gran Miscela Carmo Espresso Blend® is composed of three coffees from the Carmo de Minas region in Southeast Brazil, a hidden gem gaining prominence. Each coffee in this blend comes from a different family we formed a direct relationship with starting in 2008.

Pulling notes of caramel from the Canaan Estate and roasted nuts from the Condado Estate, this sumptuous blend is crafted atop a foundation of a chocolatey Peaberry coffee. The balance and complexity are best highlighted as espresso, particularly when enjoyed as a cappuccino, latte, or americano.

Ethiopia Sidama

The Sidama “Dur Feres” showcases mixed berries enveloped in a creamy texture, hints of red cherry and white flowers, and finishes with distinctive clarity. This versatile coffee can be enjoyed using many brewing methods.

“Dur Feres,” or “Wild Horse,” is a community micro-lot from South Central Ethiopia in the Bensa district of the Sidama growing region. Caffè Lusso is proud to showcase this coffee as it was crafted in the spirit and homage to legendary Ethiopian coffee producer Mohamed Ogsady, whose world renowned “Horse Harar” was the benchmark of one of the greatest coffees in the world for many years. The unique flavors of this coffee come from Ethiopia’s unique terroir captured at 1800 meters above sea level.

Sumatra Mutu Batak

Produced in the Lintongnihuta region on the southern shores of Lake Toba in Sumatra, Indonesia, this coffee carries the name and quality of the Batak people. With notes of fresh earth, tobacco, cacao, and butterscotch, this coffee has a naturally rich body and viscosity. It is diligently harvested by triple-picking the ripest fruit before sun-drying in small batches to concentrate the rich flavors of the region.

Guatemala Finca Florencia

This small-farm Guatemalan coffee highlights the chocolate and floral notes archetypical of the region. As our most popular coffee brewed using the drip method, it is balanced and complex with layers of molasses, orange peel, and dark fruit.

Inspired by our first sip, we had to share this coffee with the rest of the world. From the Huehuetenango region in Northwest Guatemala, Rodulfo Jacinto Jimenez Lopez is the embodiment of Guatemalan coffee excellence. Grown at elevations of 1,450-1,750 meters on the steep hillsides of this mountainous region, Rodulfo and his two sons practice minimal-processing on their own wet mill, highlighting the simple elegance of coffee from the region.
