Cafe Lusso roasts the most flavorful beans! We picked up some bags to give as gifts and the sampler is a great way for family and friends to experience your awesomeness.

Since I am here in Jamaica, I just received my package yesterday. Apparently there was a delay with the shipper at this end. Additionally, it has taken 24 hours for me to recover from the ecstasy I experienced from unboxing ( solid, secure packaging, beautifully hand written welcome note) to the preparation of my first shot of espresso, which has revolutionized my 20 year espresso coffee journey.
I chose to start with the Ethiopian Guji, because after all that region that gave coffee to the world. My experience was earth shattering: I could literally smell blueberries on the beans, an aroma that filled my nostrils ( and my coffee bar) after grinding. In an attempt to dial in, I used my regular Jamaican Blue Mountain blend beans as my compass. My first shot was phenomenal ( 22 g in - 44 g out in 28 seconds.) I was awestruck! The anatomy of the shot was text book, but as I say, we don’t drink brew parameters or visual appearance of our espresso. On the first sip I was in disbelief! I tasted with irrefutable distinction Blueberries, as though I had just prepared a blueberry smoothie- remarkable! As I sipped on I tasted with airy clarity strawberries, and towards the end when the shot had cooled to 50 degrees C , the punch of cherry cordial.
I salute Philip and the crew! At this rate you have a loyal costumer life. I will take the next few days to check out the other coffees in the pack and will be ordering some Lion Share espresso blend soon.

As a coffee newbie I ordered the single-origin sampler hoping to find a perfect one for me. That was challenging since each coffee in the sampler is distinct and has its unique character.
All four coffees were incredibly fresh, far superior to what you can typically find at a local grocery store.
